Welcome 2011!

I wish you and your families a year full of happiness and more.

One thing I would like to achieve for 2011 is a more productive yet simplistic way of life. I usually have a list of resolutions before the new year comes in, but not this year. I would like for this year to be more instinctual and not to be based on a list that's bound to fall apart.

My one motto for this year is a lot more simplified than the past: Do More, Talk Less.

Here's a new approach on writing resolutions: have it on your Iphone and never forget about it ever again. The idea is called To Resolve Project and is created by Streger of motherlanddesign.blogspot.com.

Here are some of my personal favorites out of the bunch.

Tea please...

Tea is becoming more and more the beverage of choice over coffee because of its healthy benefits. I am a coffee lover myself, but I am slowly introducing tea with my breakfast these days. The tea collection below would be quite a showcase in your pantry. Here are the package designers (images: Lovely Package) 1. Up Inc. 2. Smith & Milton 3. Daisy Lee 4. ABD 5. Russian Creators.

Plate-sational!

I have always had a fascination with plates. I like plates that come in different forms. Some are square, most are round, some are hand-painted and some are gilded with gold. So many choices! The awesome plates you see below are created by Parul Arora. Paula is an illustrator and designer, based in London. You can check more of her playful tablewares on her website.
